We are working with a Tier 1 main contractor who are looking for a Business Development Manager with a proven track record of securing new business within the Construction industry. The role will require someone who can identify and develop new revenue streams with clients for the development of new commercial and industrial build projects. The organisation is an already successful international contractor, although they are growing their Northwest region. They have Framework agreements in place within education, public sector works as well as some blue chip clients in the manufacturing sector. They would be open to new revenue streams including refurbishment, fit out, civil engineering and housing projects. With office locations across Europe, they are a £5b turnover business with 5000 staff members. You would be an integral part of the business and the opportunity would be there to develop a long standing career with solid career progression.
Skills/Duties:
- Promote the business at Construction expos
- Develop business with end user clients - manufacturing, local authorities, land owners, industrial, FMCG businesses
- Knowledge of Pre Construction and Estimating
- Manage and develop own revenue streams
- Work with Pre Construction teams and Senior Leadership Team to secure new projects for the business
- Promote the business in a professional and innovative manner
- Provide quotations and estimates
- Full driving licence
- Previous experience within a Business Development role in the Construction industry
