Are you a Geography teacher looking for a dynamic new teaching role in an excellent secondary school in Welwyn? Do you enjoy inspiring students with engaging Geography lessons? We are seeking an enthusiastic Geography teacher who can work full-time for the 2025/2026 academic year on a permanent or contracted basis. You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their geographical knowledge and understanding. This role is for one year initially, with the opportunity to extend.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred; however, experience as an unqualified Geography teacher within the United Kingdom will be looked upon very favourably.
You will need to:
- Work as a Geography teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
