The purpose of this role is:
The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from across the Finance and P2P teams via Easyvista.
You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries related to our Workday system.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.
In this role, you will be part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post-go-live support and enhancements for Workday solutions. This team will grow as we expand our Workday finance deployment.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the configuration and optimization of the Workday finance system across the business.
- Support daily operations of Workday finance to assist users.
- Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
- Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
- Support configuration changes, review new features, and assist in delivery.
- Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand their needs and challenges.
- Create documentation to facilitate successful system change adoption.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related fields.
- Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
- Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems (desirable).
- Experience in a Workday finance support role.
- Experience working within an international organization.
- Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing security in Workday.
- Technical background across multiple technologies.
- Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
- Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.
