We have a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer from a Hydraulics background to join a Defence organisation that has an order of BILLIONS of Pounds! With over a century of excellence, this organisation values its skilled workforce and is committed to developing cutting-edge designs to meet complex operational challenges, with clients across the Globe and over a decade of order book ahead. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office, 2 days from home. Key Responsibilities Develop hydraulic design solutions in collaboration with mechanical and controls engineers. Check and approve technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals. Lead hardware development, testing, and the production of systems from concept to delivery. Support production, testing, field engineering teams, and sales teams with bids and quotations. In return you’ll receive a salary up to £65,000, 25 days holiday and 7% pension contributions from the business.
