Position: Senior Account Executive, Health

Our London Health team is growing. We seek a Senior Account Executive to support existing accounts, working on projects related to women’s health, cervical cancer screening, and oncology portfolios, covering brand, patient advocacy, disease awareness, and clinical trial recruitment, with digital elements. The role offers exposure across agency teams, enhancing skills and industry understanding.

Summary: A Senior Account Executive understands accounts thoroughly, conveying this knowledge effectively to media, influencers, and team members. They are skilled in traditional and modern PR tools, recommending strategies and tactics, and working effectively with clients at various levels.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client Servicing: Build relationships, understand the competitive landscape, manage multiple projects, estimate expenses, manage client correspondence, participate in presentations.
  • Public Relations: Develop and manage PR programs, plan events and campaigns, counsel clients on media and online engagement, brief media, stay updated on industry trends, maintain key contacts.
  • Writing & Editing: Research, write, and edit press releases, backgrounders, articles, develop pitches, draft client correspondence, develop key messages.
  • Market Knowledge: Understand client business strategies, industry issues, products, and competitors; understand marketing principles and PR’s role.
  • Planning & Research: Manage projects, understand client programs, participate in brainstorms.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Management: Work within budgets, understand billing processes, track expenses.
  • Business Development: Assist in new business review, develop industry contacts, participate in presentations.
  • Leadership & Development: Assist in recruiting, performance appraisals, coaching, team activities, supervise tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
  • 2-3 years of PR experience.
  • Excellent UK editorial style skills.

Salary: £31,500 – £33,500 per year plus benefits.
