Job Overview

Location: London Insurance Market, City, London/Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)

Type: Contract (initially 6 months)

Rate: £700 per day inside IR35

Role Description

A new contract opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect to join a well-respected London Market Insurer. The role involves designing how their systems and components integrate across the business, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the company\’s tech strategy. You will provide technical oversight across multiple teams, unblock delivery, and help shape architectural principles for future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve systems architecture across key platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and well-integrated design standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to unblock delivery and manage workload and prioritization with the enterprise architect.
  • Document architecture designs and decisions, maintaining architectural documentation, diagrams, and logs.
  • Review proposals for new systems or integrations, advising on strategic alignment.
