With a strong mission to redefine what modern banking feels like, this award-winning business combines forward-thinking technology with a deep commitment to customer experience. As they continue scaling their mobile offerings, they are investing in strengthening their native iOS capabilities to significantly enhance app performance and usability.

The Opportunity

This role sits within the Mobile Platform team, which is responsible for the technical foundations of the app—covering architecture, shared capabilities, infrastructure, and developer tools. As a thought leader in native development, this team is crucial to improving performance, refining UX, and shaping the future of mobile at the organisation. Currently built using React Native, the app increasingly incorporates native elements (Swift/Kotlin) to unlock better performance and user experience. The incoming iOS Engineer will be instrumental in driving this evolution forward.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, performant applications
  • A passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement
  • Strong sense of ownership and a user-centric mindset

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices
  • Experience collaborating with Android (Kotlin) and/or React Native developers
