As our new Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

  • Delivering outstanding care to psycho social patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback – ensuring that their care is personalised and tailored to the individual

  • Providing a programme of psycho social interventions

  • Provide information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cession, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices

  • Delivering care on a 1-1 basis as well as group sessions

  • Assisting the healthcare team on the wings and in house blocks

Our new Healthcare Assistant will:

  • Have experience of working within the substance misuse multi-disciplinary framework, which includes housing, social care, health care and mental health pathways

  • Have a relevant degree / qualification, or equivalent experience

  • Have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday., This position is full time , you’ll receive an annual salary of £26,586 – £30,684 dependent on experience
