The Vision:
Champs is a Sheffield staple with a strong local following, known for relaxed vibes, big screens, and honest, satisfying food. We are putting renewed focus into the kitchen, tightening up operations, improving consistency, and making sure the food hits just as hard as the atmosphere.
You will be part of a team bringing energy and reliability back to the heart of the menu, with the opportunity to step up as we develop the site further. There are long-term plans to modernise and grow the offering, so if you have ideas and drive, this could grow into much more than just a job.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Cooking a classic pub menu - think burgers, wings, grills, pizzas, and a bit of everything
- Running the kitchen solo during quieter shifts, including busy match days
- Keeping prep, service, and cleaning sharp and efficient
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Managing stock levels and flagging any issues early
- Supporting occasional specials and menu changes
- Working a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekends and key match days
