Our client is a leading global real estate investor with significant capital to deploy across the UK and Europe. As part of the groupβs growth plan, they are looking to hire an Analyst or Senior Analyst in their Real Estate Investment team in London to support deal execution on European real estate transactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting deal execution on European real estate transactions, primarily focused on the UK, Nordics, Germany, and the Netherlands.
- Responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in different geographies and asset classes.
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies for European Real Estate markets.
- Support deal activity in financial modelling of potential deals, designing and maintaining underwriting models.
- Assist in analysing, structuring, negotiating and recommending new deals.
- Responsible for preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
- Support transaction execution workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting, and legal documentation.
- Support asset management activities relating to existing investments.
Background and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor degree (1st or 2:1), ideally in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Minimum 1-3 years experience working in a real estate team within an investment bank or private equity firm.
- Deal experience in value-add and opportunistic strategies.
- Broad real estate sector experience.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organised.
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Native level written and spoken English.
- Fluency in a second European language is desirable, including Dutch, German, or Swedish.
