We're recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for a Logistics & Supply Operative to provide essential support to our client. You'll play a vital role in keeping front line services running by ensuring key supplies are available, stocked, and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide internal supply chain support to stations, checking stock levels and raising replenishment requests in line with delivery schedules and time frames.
- Receive, check, and verify goods, ensuring documentation is accurate and stock is rotated correctly across warehouse and station levels.
- Produce regular reports and engage with station staff to ensure stocked items continue to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to stations, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent.
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Storage, Warehousing, and Distribution, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a supply chain/logistics environment with working knowledge of stock control procedures.
- Familiarity with top-up processes, goods acceptance/delivery documentation.
- Strong customer care experience and communication skills.
- Awareness of health and safety policies, COSHH regulations, and procedures around security, fire, and complaints handling.
