As an All-Age Quality Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality assurance activities across our social care provisions. You will:

  • Lead quality inspections and ensure timely data sharing to improve service delivery

  • Conduct both announced and unannounced visits to providers’ premises, producing detailed reports and recommendations

  • Collaborate with providers to meet quality standards and drive best practices

  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the Care Quality Commission and OFSTED, to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

  • Support provider concerns meetings and provide written briefings on serious performance issues

  • Resolve queries, complaints, and safeguarding concerns from various stakeholders

  • Maintain robust partnerships and information sharing channels with key stakeholders

  • Support the development and delivery of Provider Engagement events to shape the market and enhance service quality.

  • A good standard of English and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential

  • Relevant qualifications related to quality assurance are desirable.

Experience:

  • Experience in the Social Care or Health sector with a good understanding of relevant legislation

  • Experience working in partnership with key stakeholders across Health, Social Care, Commissioning, and Brokerage

  • Experience in a complex care setting environment and working with commissioners, brokerage, and providers to monitor contracts and quality standards

  • Understanding of social care provision and quality standards

  • Understanding of OFSTED and CQC assurance.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Good understanding of quality assurance processes within a social care setting

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical skills

  • Ability to deal with stressful or distressing circumstances and contribute to service development
