CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Registration & Shipment Administrator supports the Global Registration & Shipment Manager, in the delivery of effective management of the rights owned and/or controlled by the affiliates within the Wise Music Group.
Key Objectives:
- To support the Global Registration & Shipment Manager in ensuring all WMG works are registered correctly throughout all UK, European, US and Australian societies through the creation of electronic registration files.
- To review and resolve works rejected by the societies.
- To support the Global Registration & Shipment Manager in circulating new and amended works to affiliates, DSP’s, sub publishers and societies via the creation of song registration and shipment files.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
REGISTRATION
- To create and send song registration files to the UK, European, US and Australian societies in a timely manner to ensure Society distribution deadlines are met.
- Load and process registration return files from each society.
- Review songs rejected by societies and amend or, arrange to be amended, for re-registration to the societies.
- Maintain in-house spreadsheets. Liaise with the affiliate offices and societies to resolve complex issues where necessary.
SHIPMENTS
- Create catalogue shipments for sub-publishers and ad-hoc shipment files as requested.
- Create catalogue shipment files of new and amended songs and circulate to several DSPs as requested.
- Deal with any queries generated from the circulation of the shipment files.
- Track receipt of the files from each sub-publisher.
- Maintain in-house spreadsheets.
COPYRIGHT TASKS
- Provide support to all departments in the Wise Music Group.
- Manage everyday queries from all sources.
- Any other Copyright tasks which may arise from time to time.
SKILLS & BEHAVIOURAL REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
- Good level of English and Maths.
- European language an advantage.
Experience
- Copyright knowledge and experience is not expected but desirable.
- Working within a Team.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of how the various Global societies work is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Global societies distribution deadlines is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Global society CWR rules and society specific edits is desirable.
Skills and Abilities
- Good level of all Microsoft applications, in particular Excel.
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

Availability
Core working hours are 0930 to 1730 Monday to Friday, however you will need to be flexible and able to work additional hours as required ensuring deadlines are met.
