This role is for a rotational position in West Africa. Global Edge Group is proud to be exclusively supporting our client, a leading subsea engineering company in West Africa, with their operations and engineering. We are working closely with their team to identify an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support ongoing offshore and onshore activities across multiple projects.
Role Summary: The Senior Project Engineer will play a key role in delivering subsea engineering scopes, project planning, offshore coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. The role involves both office-based work and offshore rotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project scopes, execution plans, and procurement strategies
- Oversee onshore fabrication, offshore construction, and vessel operations
- Coordinate risk management, commissioning, and project handover processes
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure HSEQ compliance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support tenders and mobilisations, including equipment planning and logistics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related)
- 6–7+ years’ experience in subsea project engineering
- Strong knowledge of subsea systems, fabrication, and IMR operations
- Offshore Oil & Gas contracting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- BOSIET & OGUK (preferred)
- Willingness to travel offshore as required
