We have an exceptional opportunity to work for a Global Organisation who specialise in mass production of small products that are incredibly important to the safety of highly regulated industries. The role will specialise in New Product Development (NPD) engineering within a dynamic and growing organisation. Based in a modern, purpose-built office, the role involves managing multiple fast-paced projects spanning various product families and materials. They have a huge pipeline of NPD and this will bring the opportunity to work with a large variety of materials and metals. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Design engineer with a strong background in product design and development with GD&T experience. A candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, and is looking to progress their career in a collaborative and innovative NPD setting will find this position particularly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust, manufacturable mechanical design solutions using CAD and analysis tools.
  • Manage all aspects of product design and development, including validation, type approval, and production support.
  • Provide technical engineering support for legacy products while adhering to structured APQP development processes.
  • You must have experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T).
  • Undertake occasional offsite travel, including overseas assignments.

In return you’ll receive a salary up to £45k, 23 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays), 5% matched pension scheme and a bonus up to 5% per annum.
