We are seeking an exceptional Sales Manager, Belgravia to join the Maybourne Sales team. We are building on the reputation of our heritage properties by pursuing a global vision to lead the future of luxury. This includes curating distinctive and enriching experiences, developing our digital capabilities and superior insights, enhancing our unmatched guest experience, and expanding the number of hotels, spas, and residences around the world.
The Sales Manager, Belgravia will be responsible for generating revenue from local and global companies working closely with the Regional Director of Sales. Through strong strategic sales plans, the Sales Manager will deliver revenue for consortia, corporate transient and group segments. In this role, you will become a specialist in Maybourne storytelling and deliver activity through face-to-face sales calls (site inspections, Fam Trips and presentations) for all London Maybourne properties with a key focus on The Berkeley & The Emory.
Main responsibilities of the Sales Manager, Belgravia role include but are not limited to:
- To develop a close working relationship with designated leisure, concierge and corporate accounts within your regions.
- To conduct proactive sales calls, with identified business sources, assess potential and arrange sales appointments.
- To conduct an average of 8 meetings & show rounds of all hotel facilities to potential and existing clients ensuring that they are introduced to key Operational Managers and GM’s where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Groups, Sales, Revenue Management, on property Event teams and operational teams to convert bookings.
- To have a strong product knowledge of all hotels and the Maybourne brand pillars and manifestos.
- To identify potential sources of business by analysing evidence of buyer activity in competitor hotels, independent research offline and online and following up referred sales leads.
- To complete weekly sales activities in Sales Force, expenses and any other sales report in a timely fashion when required.
- To conduct sales presentations and represent Maybourne at appropriate showcases.
- To maintain currency market trends (via market and competitor analysis), recommend appropriate measures to ensure that Maybourne responds competitively.
- To provide client feedback/suggestions to operational management on the delivery of our products and services.
Successful candidates for our Sales Manager, Belgravia opportunity will have:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sales Force and Opera.
- Previous experience within Sales environment.
