This is a fantastic opportunity for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join a growing fabless chip design company based in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and challenging design projects while diversifying and expanding your knowledge in Analog/Mixed Signal and RF IC Design. Based close to the beautiful Peak District!

In this role you will work as part of a small, experienced IC team, taking responsibility for:

  • Design and simulation of Analog/Mixed Signal and/or RF IC blocks – e.g. references, amps, filters, ADC/DACs, synthesizer building blocks, VCOs, LNAs, Mixers, PA, power management
  • Full circuit design flow from definition and specification to production/IP delivery
  • Top level IC/SoC RF/Analog/Mixed Signal performance and functional verification
  • Silicon evaluation and test
  • Working with marketing and customers

The successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have:

  • A BSc / MSc / PhD in Microelectronic Design or Electronic Engineering or similar
  • At least a couple of years’ experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal and/or RF IC Design in CMOS (although various levels of experience will be considered)
  • Excellent team working skills, a passion to learn, and top-notch communication skills
