Field Sales Representative

We are currently on the look out for an ambitious Field Sales Representative to join our local, fast growing client based in Swinton, Rotherham.

You will be taken under the wing of experts within the Recycling and Scrap Metal field offering support and further training to ensure you have a successful, long-term career.

Key Details:

• Permanent role

• £26K Salary + uncapped sales bonus

• Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

• Company vehicle provided (age 25+ and existing license required)

• Fuel allowance and expenses provided

Main duties of the job:

• Traveling to customers’ and prospects sites around Yorkshire pricing up scrap metal

• Providing service and product information on site to prospects (training provided)

• Building and maintaining relationships with new customers

• Growing current business and generating new business leads

• Providing purchase quotations of customer scrap metal

• Attending charity and social events such as Bluebell Woods, BMRA and various others

• Following up site visits, providing further information via email and phone in order to win new business

• Various other duties

• Very friendly, outgoing and approachable personality

• Ability to provide excellent product knowledge

• Driving license is essential due to visiting various customers sites daily

• 2 + years’ experience within a sales or similar role would be required

• Ability to easily build and maintaining working relationships

• Excellent listening and communication skills
