Imagine a world where all animals are treated with kindness and respect. Lead the RSPCA and make this a reality.
As Chief Executive of the RSPCA, you’ll be at the heart of a movement – guiding a globally-recognised animal welfare charity into its next chapter.
For 200 years, the RSPCA has led the fight against cruelty, transformed legislation, rescued and rehabilitated countless animals, and inspired millions to act. Today, animals face more complex and urgent challenges than ever before – from the pressures of low welfare farming and climate change to the cost of living crisis. Our refreshed strategy sets out a bold vision to meet these challenges, but we need courageous leadership to deliver it.
We are now seeking a visionary, purpose-driven Chief Executive to lead us forward. This is an opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK’s most loved charities – and to drive systemic change at scale.
You’ll need a proven track record of leading a complex organisation, with experience of driving success in a challenging financial climate. You’ll know how to inspire, align and energise diverse teams and stakeholders. You’ll bring commercial acumen, strategic clarity, and the ability to secure resources and forge powerful partnerships. Animal welfare experience isn’t required, but a deep belief in and commitment to our purpose and our strategic direction is.
This is a unique moment to lead a historic organisation that is modernising rapidly and determined to increase its reach and relevance. If you believe in the power of compassion and collaboration to create change, and have the leadership experience to guide us, we’d love to hear from you.
Lead the RSPCA. Help create a better world for every animal.
