Your front of house management team is currently looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to assist in leading the team. The Assistant General Manager focuses on managing the day to day activities in the restaurant, bar and lounge. They will be in charge of managing and maintaining strategy, policies, procedures, guests, staff, and purveyors in attaining budgeted goals and sales growth.
As an Assistant General Manager we would love you to have:
- At least 7 years of hospitality experience with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity
- Personal License holder
- Experience working in a similar fast-paced environment
- Ability to support the management team in the development and training of team members
- Exceptional customer focus - demonstrating exceptional guest service
- Effective Communication skills with, and cooperates/assists other departments at all levels when necessary
- Financial acumen skills
- The ability to ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legal requirements, including fire, Health and Safety, licensing and employment
- Clear working knowledge of all company policies and operates within them at all times
- Ensures staff awareness of relevant company policies
- Certifications as required to comply with government regulations and health codes, such as Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness, Alcohol Certification
- Ability to undertake any other duties as and when required by Senior Management
