What you’ll be doing as Environmental Technician This is a varied role that combines office- and field-based tasks, so you must be happy to work outside in all weathers and on sites with challenging terrain. Collecting gas, leachate or waste samples, ensuring that all environmental monitoring requirements of the site’s permits are complied with, and proactively communicating with regulatory bodies including the Environment Agency are all part of the job.
