Senior Associate Lawyer Funds Finance

Major US Firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join a leading Funds Finance team in London. Counsel level or Partnership entry will be considered.

About the Role

You will advise a diverse client base, including leading global and regional banks, credit funds, alternative lenders, and private equity sponsors, on complex fund finance transactions. This will include:

• NAV facilities, subscription line facilities, GP and co-invest facilities, hybrid facilities, and other structured finance solutions for investment funds.
• Cross-border transactions involving a wide variety of fund structures (including private equity, infrastructure, real estate, debt, and secondaries).
• Acting for both lenders and borrowers across a range of financing products.
• Supporting business development, mentoring junior team members, and playing a key role in transaction management and client engagement.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years PQE with significant experience in funds finance or a closely aligned area of banking & finance law.
• Qualified in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
• Strong technical legal skills, with a commercial and solutions-focused approach.
• Experience in managing complex transactions and leading deal teams.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team growth.
