An exciting multi-channel retailer is currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Director, who will sit on the leadership team and help shape and drive the business forward in both their UK and International expansion.
Some of the duties of the successful Finance Director:
- Lead on all commercial finance matters and implementing ‘best in class’ processes that will withstand the tests of time i.e. high growth periods
- Partner with department heads to understand the key issues and business drivers
- Partner and educate the physical store teams on the importance of completeness and accuracy, budgets vs forecasts etc.
- Co-lead on fundraising activities
- Guide the ship and take control of both the in-year and 3-year strategy plan
- Oversee the team on core elements of Finance as the no.1 within Finance, such as Month End close
- Be the escalation point of contact for external auditors when it comes to the annual audit process
Experience and Qualifications for the successful Finance Director:
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified with a number of years PQE
- Strong Leadership experience with managing and driving a high-performance team
- PE/VC Experience would be great, but not essential
- Fundraising experience would be ideal, but not essential
- Consumer related industry experience ideal
- Very strong attention to detail
