Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with this Global Engineering business to recruit an International Sales Engineer. This role will be office-based with regular travel into Europe to meet with customers.
Responsibilities
- Regular visits to customer’s premises to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Investigate current and future business opportunities within a designated sales area with both existing and potential customers
- Work closely with other companies within the Group to develop business within a designated sales area
- Maintain and develop industry and process knowledge
- Feedback information to be provided through the visit report system
- Process enquiries and sales orders for both contract and parts sales
- Respond to customer enquiries in relation to quotations and orders
- Communicate with all internal departments to provide accurate information to customers
- Work as part of a team to achieve Company sales and margin targets
- Attend team meetings to contribute to the sales and marketing strategy of the Company
- Provide accurate information to assist with sales forecasting
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a sales environment is essential
- Engineering experience is essential at any education level
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of a business
- Good organiser and multi-tasking skills
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Good team player
- Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised
- Additional language skills would be beneficial
This role will require the post holder to travel worldwide in the execution of their duties.
