Job Description
- You will manage key procurement projects across multiple sites, including sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Accountable for managing and leading a procurement team, driving performance to deliver tangible value.
- Managing the tender process and evaluating major equipment service providers.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure procurement deliverables meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for projects.
- Plan and implement procurement strategies to ensure optimal value.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and conduct supplier review meetings with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement and supply chain performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong track record in project management, including end-to-end procurement, contracts, and SRM.
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Good understanding of cost models, business models, NEC models, accounting practices, commercial audits, forecasting, valuations, and supplier costing models.
- Experience in developing and implementing NEC3 or NEC4 contracting models.
- Proactive approach to contract compliance, with the ability to monitor and correct non-compliance.
- Package management experience covering the entire supply chain lifecycle is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
