An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Senior Category Manager to lead the commercial strategy across key digital domains, including Cybersecurity, Networks, and Telecoms. This pivotal role supports the delivery of high-impact digital transformation initiatives, enabling long-term innovation and resilience in a fast-evolving technology landscape.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and execute commercial strategies for cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and software categories.
- Lead commercial support for project delivery contracts, software renewals, and sourcing of new technology solutions.
- Create and deliver category plans aligned with wider strategic goals and digital programme milestones.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of suppliers, driving continuous improvement and long-term value.
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on commercial best practices and risk mitigation.
- Actively scan the market to ensure the organisation remains agile, competitive, and informed of innovations.
- Influence at all levels of the organisation to embed commercial excellence and compliance.

- Strong background in commercial or procurement roles within digital categories, ideally cybersecurity and/or networks.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Deep understanding of digital commercial models, supplier landscapes, and emerging technology trends.
- Expertise in end-to-end category management, with the ability to lead multiple high-value projects.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the confidence to manage contractual risk and drive supplier performance.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term value creation with immediate operational needs.
- Experience managing categories with significant commercial value and strategic importance (up to £100m).
