A long-established and respected property management company is seeking a Rent Collection Officer to join their proactive and supportive rents team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with tenants, resolving issues, and supporting individuals in maintaining successful tenancies. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting rent, managing tenant relationships, and providing guidance on housing benefits, including Universal Credit. You will regularly travel to meet tenants in person, so a full UK driver's license is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Rent Collection: Monitor and collect rent payments, ensuring tenant accounts are up to date.
- Tenant Engagement: Visit tenants to build relationships, resolve issues, and encourage timely payments.
- Benefit Support: Help tenants understand and manage housing benefits, including Universal Credit.
- Document Verification: Check and process rent-related documentation accurately.
