The company is seeking a finance professional to take the role of Junior Accountant to help support the continued expansion of our global business. The successful candidate will be involved in the timely and accurate processing of agents, self billers and accounts receivable relating to our candid business. This position requires a highly organised and motivated individual who is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of agent reporting
- Cash application and invoicing of large self-billing customers
- Weekly accounts receivable/credit control follow ups
- Bi-monthly invoice uploading
- Assist the Staff Accountant with smaller accrual postings for month end close
- Assist with financial audits, SEC filings and SOX compliance
- Other ad-hoc projects, as required
Requirements:
- Studying towards a degree in accounting or finance
- 1 - 2 years of previous finance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to bring insights and suggestions for process improvements
- Highly detail orientated and organised
- Excels in learning quickly and taking ownership of own development
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and handles pressure well
- Ability to work cross functionally with various teams across the business
- Ability to be proactive and a problem solver
