We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Store Manager to join Barnardo’s on a Full Time, Permanent basis. As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Widnes Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. By doing so you will play a crucial role in raising the funds for the amazing services and support Barnardo’s provides for children, young people, parents, and carers across the UK. Location: Unit C, Upton Rocks District Centre, Fir Park, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 9BD Working Pattern: As the store is open 7 days a week, the successful post holder will be required to on a rota basis which will include weekend, evening, and bank holiday working. Please note as the store receives a large number of donations there is a need for the successful candidate to work at pace and with adaptability and also have experience in handling and moving high volumes of stock on a daily basis. Some but not all key responsibilities are: Ensuring stock is generated over the door by members of the public and donors sign up to the Gift Aid scheme. Ensure that the high standard of service to customers that is expected by Barnardo’s is maintained at all times.
