Leveraging their extensive networks with Producers, Transporters, and Clients, our client has achieved consistent organic growth over the past two decades.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide logistics advice to business managers.
- Assist business managers by identifying opportunities to increase profits or improve efficiency.
- Enhance the customer experience by providing excellent customer service.
- Learn from the logistics support process to identify and communicate business improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and report deal profitability, ensuring all direct costs are attributed to the deals.
- Monitor business managers' working capital usage: stock, prepayments, debtors, cash, creditors, and accruals.
- Maintain clear audit trails of all elements of information reporting.
Requirements
- Educated to a master's or degree level (2:1 or above) in logistics, supply chain, or a business-related degree.
- Work experience in a logistics or operations role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT literate.
- Strong attitude towards work and learning.
- Proactive and can-do attitude.
