Denholm is delighted to partner with an independent rare whisky business to hire a Global Private Client Director to lead and execute the company’s commercial strategy. Our client works directly and exclusively with world class whisky brand owners and producers. They specialise in advising high-net-worth private clients, family offices and funds on the acquisition, disposal & verification of rare single malt whisky for collecting, drinking and gifting - providing clients with D2C sales, authenticity, provenance, and quality of product. They pride themselves on customer service and offer additional services of project management, verification, portfolio management and whisky experiences.
Working on a hybrid home/office basis in the UK, the Global Private Client Director is responsible for identifying, onboarding and managing ultra-high-net-worth individuals globally, with a focus on rare whisky as a passion asset. This client-facing, entrepreneurial role requires a warm, knowledgeable individual with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to close high-value cask and bottle deals through in-person advisory-based selling.
To be considered, you will have proven ability to sell to high-net-worth individuals and a deep understanding and interest in rare whisky and/or alternative assets. With a track record of closing high value deals and ideally international experience in Asia/US, you will be able to demonstrate an ability to create and deliver on a global business development strategy.
