Job Title: Refuse Loader

Location: NewportHours: 37 hours per week (flexible shifts including weekends and bank holidays as needed)Salary: £12.18

About the Role:We're looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our Waste & Cleansing team as Refuse Loaders. You'll play a key part in keeping our city clean by collecting household waste and recycling from local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out waste and recycling collections following daily route schedules
Lift and load bins, sacks, and other containers safely
Report issues such as missed bins or contamination
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Support other teams and attend training when required

About You:

Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weathers
A team player who can also work independently
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexibly
Good awareness of health and safety practices
Previous outdoor or manual labour experience is helpful but not essential
