For Companies Remedy Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lewisham that is seeking a dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and looking to gain long-term experience in a nurturing and structured school environment.
The Role:
- Supporting students with ASD on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Working closely with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver personalised learning support
- Using structure, routines, and visual aids to help pupils manage their day
- Promoting independence and building confidence in students with communication or sensory needs
- Assisting with daily transitions, behaviour management, and classroom organisation
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with ASD
