Market Data Analyst We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing global quantitative and systematic investment firm, renowned for its technology-driven approach and scientific strategies in liquid asset classes worldwide. Our client is seeking an experienced Market Data Analyst to join their expanding London team. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Market Data Services and sits within the broader COO function. As a Market Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s market data needs, including selecting appropriate data products, managing vendor relationships, onboarding new vendors, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate reporting processes. This role will suit a proactive, analytical individual with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage market data contracts and maintain accurate records in the Inventory database Lead vendor relationships, resolving queries and negotiating contracts with key suppliers Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including exchange reporting and month-end activities Support the development and implementation of new tools to enhance the efficiency of the Market Data team Manage the reconciliation of market data invoices and ensure smooth procurement processes Prepare for and support audits, maintaining organised and accurate records Key Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience Strong experience working with exchanges and data vendors (e.g., LSE, Nasdaq, Bloomberg) Proficiency with permissioning systems like DACS and EMRS, and knowledge of inventory management systems (MDM) Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams and external vendors If you’re looking to contribute to a leading-edge, technology-driven investment firm and have the expertise to deliver top-tier market data solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
