Business Modeller & Analyst

Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit two analyst & business Modellers to join its friendly and hardworking team. Responsibilities will include developing a deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical arena in order to provide high quality modelling, analysis and consultancy services in forecasting, pricing and market access to clients. The work includes running market research projects to inform how pharmaceuticals will be received by the market. You will present and report your models and findings, ensuring your recommendations are clear and applicable. As you progress in the role, you will be expected to take on more responsibility and develop your knowledge and consultative skills, with the aim of becoming a Senior Consultant. To be considered for the role, you will have achieved a first or 2:1 degree from a top-twenty university in a life science subject or economics alongside outstanding A level grades, ideally including maths and science. The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and topics is imperative. An understanding of statistical concepts and spreadsheet modelling is beneficial, and you should be highly numerate and computer literate – especially in Excel. Some travel in the UK and overseas will be part of the role, so you should have flexibility to accommodate. The role will be based full time at the company’s offices near High Wycombe. You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £28,000 (increasing to £31,000 upon successful completion of a six‑month probationary period) as well as a generous bonus scheme that reflects your individual performance.
