A leading environmental consultancy is looking for a commercially focused Asbestos Consultant who will also supervise and support Technicians and support staff.
Main Responsibilities:
- Client management, care and liaison
- Organising, assessing and conducting asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys within a team
- Prepare factual and interpretative reports
- Organisation of asbestos removal projects as instructed, and any contractors and subcontractors appointed
- Conducting on-site monitoring of removal works including background tests, smoke tests, visual inspections, leak tests, 4 stage clearance and re-occupation tests
- Assist in training technicians on and off site
- Conduct Asbestos Awareness seminars for clients and their representatives
The skills/experience you will need are:
- P402, P403, P404 qualified
- Previous experience of working within consultancies and experience of dealing with multiple clients across a variety of industries
- Commercially focused with proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach
- Experience of working to strict deadlines
