We’re searching for a Pipeline Manager to join our Group Property Development team in London!

The Role

Working within our Group Property Development team, the successful Pipeline Manager will be fully responsible for prioritizing, resourcing, tracking and reporting of all gym development projects within the business.

As a Pipeline Manager, the successful candidate will also support the embedding and continuous improvement of our cross-team property processes and contribute to the wider Development team in developing a culture of best practice and continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities within this role include:

  • Provide ownership of the Property Development pipelines, ensuring all projects are effectively tracked and stakeholders are regularly informed of progress, issues, risks and opportunities.
  • Prioritize development projects based on an understanding of business needs and strategic priorities.
  • Work closely with the Capex Committees to ensure transparency of decisions made, successful closure of actions, and timely progress of projects from inception through to the completion.
  • Understand the required governance within development projects and ensuring all of these are adhered to.
  • Ensure each project is adequately resourced and resolve any workload challenges within the Group Property and Delivery teams.
  • Establish a reporting suite to better inform the wider business of current Development project statuses. Keep the business informed on forecasted critical milestones.
  • Ensure the Property Development Pipeline remains fit for purpose as we look to expand into wider markets and territories.
  • Embed a rolling 12–18-month view on projected workload by country/territory and pro-actively find solutions to balance any peaks or troughs.
  • Provide regular reporting on project outputs vs targets for all property projects, providing key insights along with risks or opportunities.
  • Support the sustainment of best practice development processes for both new openings and existing estate projects, and champion opportunities to continuous improvement of these processes.
  • Provide line management and leadership to the Pipeline Coordinator.

The Person

  • Previous experience of a programme office/PMO environment, working across a large scale, multifaceted portfolio of property projects.
  • Experienced working with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, PowerApps and is extremely proficient with all Microsoft Office tools (excel, word, powerpoint).
  • Ideally has experience in developing and implementing workflow management systems.
  • Has strong project management and prioritisation skills and experience.
  • A highly capable operator who can successfully resolve difficult situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Proactive, accountable, hands on, adaptable and able to react quickly to a fast moving, ever-changing environment.
  • An excellent communicator, with the ability to simply convey complex messages and influence at a senior level.
  • Familiar and comfortable with lean ways of working. Able to identify and remove waste through applying lean thinking.
  • Ideally has experience working in or with large scale organisations in customer facing industries and has an interest in property development.
  • Able to work cross-functionally, to bring together all parts of the business to deliver the right outcome for members and PureGym.
  • Ideally has a passion for, or an interest in, fitness and leisure.
  • Previous line management or team leading experience
  • Ideally has a degree in project management or related area or has relevant training and experience.
