Main Responsibilities:
- Correct receipt of goods in, including all paper trails and allocating to correct warehouse location
- Reporting any stock or delivery discrepancies to line manager
- Following picking lists and ensuring items are packaged, labelled and sent correctly and securely to end user
- Responsible for ensuring the yard and warehouse is kept tidy and organised at all times
- Upkeep of the forklift and completing the daily checks in line with current health and safety procedures
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to and from site in an organised and timely manner, considering the wider use of the yard
- Following all health and safety procedures as advised
- Reporting any incidents to line manager and/or health and safety representative
- Updating the system for goods received/dispatched
- Suitable training must have been undertaken and be maintained for the use of the forklift
- Must be able to report for duties on time and be willing to complete all tasks set, being flexible where required
- Assist line manager and overall department as requested to ensure timely completion of departmental tasks
- The ability to communicate effectively all relevant information obtained or observed
- Ensure procedures are followed and tasks are completed when unsupervised
- Must have the ability to prioritise own workload
- Must wear any PPE as provided and instructed
- Provide parts/consumables to workshop ensuring paperwork is correct
- Booking relevant parts as requested
