Your new company Our client is a Top 100 claimant firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting for a NQ-2 PQE Military Claims solicitor to join their personal injury department. Previous military experience is beneficial but not a requirement. Applicants must have experience of EL/PL and Catastrophic Injury. This is a hybrid role with up to 2 days a week from home. Your new role This NQ-2 PQE Military Claims Solicitor role will see you assist senior team members in the running of their complex caseload. Claims will involve dealing with the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS). You will be expected to draft client and witness statements, prepare instructions to medical experts and counsel and attend tribunals. There is a strong business development element to this role where you will build your own network of contacts. What you’ll need to succeed You must be a qualified solicitor with 0-2 years PQE. Previous personal injury experience of multi-track EL/PL or catastrophic injury is essential. Previous military claims experience is beneficial, including AFCS claims and/or CICA claims. Training can be provided to the right candidate. Strong business development skills are beneficial.
