Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and resilient English Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive SEMH school in Wythenshawe. This full-time, long-term English Teacher role is to start as soon as possible, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school supports pupils aged 11 to 16 who present with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Students often work well below age-related expectations, and the successful English Teacher will need to adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning styles and levels.
About the English Teacher Role:The English Teacher will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs.The English Teacher will use creative strategies to boost literacy, confidence, and communication in a nurturing, structured setting.The English Teacher will work closely with support staff and senior leaders to ensure progress is achieved in both academic and emotional development.The English Teacher will manage behaviour positively, promoting a safe and respectful classroom culture.The English Teacher will track progress, adapt planning, and provide regular feedback to pupils and staff.
