Build Maintain Recruit are working with a regional consultancy with 4 offices based around the South West. They re now in the market for a Infrastructure Engineer/Designer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise across a diverse range of projects, from small highway upgrades to large-scale residential and commercial developments. It s a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of a strategically vital sector of the business., + Designing infrastructure for a variety of commercial and residential developments, both large and small

  • Leading designs from initial appraisal through to planning and detailed design, including infrastructure, external works, and drainage

  • Applying a strong understanding of highway and drainage design standards

  • Proficient use of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D, and Micro Drainage

  • Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards, including CDM regulations

  • Effectively managing time and maintaining detailed project records

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

  • Post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment

  • Comprehensive knowledge of highway and drainage design standards

  • Expertise in drainage standards, including Sewers for Adoption, Sewerage Sector Guidance, Code of Adoption Agreement, and CIRIA SuDS Manual (C753)

  • Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D, and Micro Drainage

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a solid grasp of standard engineering practices

Holiday entitlement. 25 days per year plus bank holidays and your birthday.
