Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will work in a Supported Living and Learning Environment with young adults aged 19+ who have severe learning difficulties and challenging behavior. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing social activities to enhance quality of life

  • Assisting with all aspects of daily living and promoting independence

  • Establishing warm, caring, and supportive relationships with individuals

  • Encouraging and guiding supportive independence

Criteria: We are seeking proactive, compassionate individuals who demonstrate:

  • Previous care experience

  • Ability to work to a rota pattern including every other weekend

  • Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and understanding

  • Motivation to learn and go the extra mile

  • Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills

  • An active approach to the role
