Elsdon Group are working with a leading Wind Turbine manufacturer who have a strong presence in the UK, delivering multi-MW projects. They are currently looking to add a Mechanical Supervisor to the team in the UK. This role is remote, but you will be required to be on site on a rotation basis. This could be anywhere in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager and Project team to deliver new projects, major repairs and maintenance. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritising those tasks' completion.
Responsibilities- Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
- Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
- Working with specialist contractors to deliver the project
- Scoping all mechanical works
- Assisting sales team to deliver bids/tenders
- Wind turbine installation experience is a must
- Must have solid experience in delivering onshore projects
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
