Senior Maintenance Engineer Up to £46,000 Northfleet, Kent Days Benefits – Monthly Bonuses Company Reward Scheme Company Pension Cycle to Work Scheme Free On-site Parking My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join a well-established building materials manufacturing company in Northfleet. You will need to provide leadership as there will be 2 engineers reporting into you. If you are hardworking and motivated, this job is ideal for you. In this role, you’ll be on day shifts with a variety of key accountabilities. These will range from investigating breakdowns, facilitating repairs and carry out RCA to prevent reoccurrence. Having a high level of fabrication skills such as welding, burning, cutting and grinding will be important as yourself and your team will be ensuring plant/equipment is maintained to a high level and meets all statutory and company requirements. Within the senior fitter role, you will provide training and coaching to individuals and groups where you will undertake periodic competency reviews. Experience and Qualification Required Experience within a manufacturing environment. Welding, burning and fabrication qualifications. NEBOSH Certificate would be an advantage, but any candidate must be prepared to gain this qualification if they don't have it. A good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices.
