The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.

The main purpose of the job is to review the future demand and ROP (Reorder) levels and keep replenishing stock holding levels into the optimal stock holding, taking into consideration cash flow, service levels, and capacity. Supporting the S&OP (Sales and Operations) manager in the day-to-day job and being the first point of contact with suppliers' supply chain contacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and managing demand, deciding how much and when to replenish using industry standard metrics.
  • Monitoring and managing accurate stock holding aligned with the business targets.
  • Liaising with relevant departments to ensure stock comes in and goes out on time to achieve 98.5% Customer and Supply Service Level.
  • Keying, sending, chasing, and booking in of orders, managing inbound diaries.
  • Maintaining professional working relationships with suppliers and customers and ensuring we meet their needs.
  • Chairing monthly supply chain meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting S&OP Manager in terms of demand planning and forecast preparation.
  • Ensuring inventory is kept within target levels and not held within the business in excess of 180 days.
  • Monitoring team and department KPIs and adjusting to meet the target levels if necessary.
  • Ensuring all activities relating to medicines and medical devices are in accordance with Good Distribution Practice of medicinal products.

  • Experience in buying/stock control.

  • Working to deadlines & managing customer expectations.
