A 5 billion European-based global food business is in search of a qualified Commercial Finance senior manager to represent the UK subsidiary at the Leadership table. Reporting to the MD, as ‘co-pilot’ of the business, you will own the financial agenda for a growing and profitable £60m wholly-owned subsidiary business with a portfolio of well-known chilled food brands, manufactured in both the UK and Germany.

The ambition is to further raise standards of financial control by building ‘best in class’ disciplines that will ensure robust transparency and reporting. This will include Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and integrated business planning tools.

As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll account for tight cost controls, accurate and timely management accounts, budgets, forecasts, provide commentary and a strategic point of view at UK Board and European Group meetings on a regular basis. You will also be responsible for compliance of all legal and tax requirements, and forex fluctuations.

A credible presence in the field of finance, most preferably knowledgeable in the food/drink industry already, ACA or ACCA qualified, and comfortable with Financial IT, you’ll also have a highly collaborative style of working.
