Our client: Our client is a prominent global financial services firm dedicated to meeting the changing investment and capital requirements of their clients and customers. Through proactive asset management, they offer innovative solutions and access to unique opportunities across both public and private capital markets, maintaining a strong international presence in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. Equally invested in their employees as in their clients. Key responsibilities: Work closely with HR Centres of Expertise to execute effective people management strategies. Build strong relationships with peers and senior leaders. Identify and address training and development needs, ensuring the necessary resources and programmes are in place. Oversee HR-related compliance and regulatory matters. Provide guidance on HR practices across regions, ensuring alignment with local employee experiences. Lead HR aspects of M&A activities, including integration and strategy implementation. Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives across the business and actively contribute to regional leadership discussions. Partner strategically with investment teams to shape and support the human capital strategy. Balance high-level consultation with essential support for implementing effective people practices. Act as the subject matter expert for the leadership team, with a thorough understanding of how the division fits within the broader organisation and its competitive landscape. Lead talent management initiatives, including talent reviews and succession planning. Carry out organisational assessments to aid in team design and restructuring efforts. Enhance organisational effectiveness through change management and employee engagement initiatives. Manage key HR cycles, such as performance reviews, compensation, and employee engagement activities. Evaluate organisational skills and capabilities, creating plans to address any gaps. Develop and oversee compensation structures aligned with business goals. Provide leaders with data and insights to inform decision-making. Lead workforce planning and assist in managing resourcing budgets. Experience requirements: Extensive and proven experience in HR Business Partnering and Advisory roles within EMEA regions, must be gained in the financial services sector, ideally a global matrixed organisation. Expertise in a specific HROD area (such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, or Organisational Design) would be a strong asset. A degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience. CIPD or similar level of experience required. A history of achieving successful outcomes is essential. Experience working in a high-pressure, client-facing role, exercising sound judgement. Strong skills in building partnerships, influencing, problem-solving, and delivering client-focused solutions are key to engaging stakeholders across the firm and within HROD. Competence in facilitation, counselling, and mediation is also important. Demonstrated experience in change management, organisational development, workforce planning, and talent management is required. Digital skills and the ability to interpret and analyse data to help clients better understand workforce needs are essential.
