Finatal is working with a sought-after private equity/credit investor looking for an investment professional to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing fund with a 25+ year track record in a thriving part of the market.
Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis and modelling to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Market research and industry analysis to identify trends and investment prospects.
- Support senior investment professionals in the due diligence process for potential investments.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
- Monitor the performance of existing portfolio investments, including regular financial analysis and market updates.
- Collaborate with other internal teams as part of ongoing monitoring of investments.
- Participate in meetings with management teams and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree - a Master’s degree or CFA is a plus.
- Relevant experience in private capital, strategy consulting, restructuring, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or similar.
- ACA or other financial qualification is highly beneficial.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to apply to a commercial environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts concisely (both written and verbal).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with a high level of integrity and work ethic.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- Willingness to undertake business travel.
- Clear enthusiasm and high interest-level for the deals business.
