Our client is recruiting a Restaurant General Manager for their outstanding pub and restaurant in the Oundle area of Northamptonshire. You will have full responsibility for the running of the restaurant and bar, staffing and maintaining first class service levels at the pub. The role is fully hands on and you will work the floor interacting with guests and staff daily to ensure outstanding guest experience. The pub is a long established business in the county which has an excellent reputation for its food and drink.

The owners are looking for a strong and motivated leader who can lead and drive the FOH team. They are looking to expand the events and functions side of the business which you can help lead. You will be a hospitality professional looking for a long term career opportunity. Due to the location you will need your own transport.

The Role

  • Responsible for all aspects of food and drinks service

  • Already working in a restaurant or dining pub as a Manager or Restaurant Manager
  • A leader who constantly develops and coaches the team
  • Ideally worked in a country pub rather than branded operation
  • Ability to offer an outstanding level of service in a relaxed manner
  • Ambitious and looking for career opportunity
