Are you passionate about making a difference and driving excellence in Mechanical and Electrical services and delivering property safety remedial projects? We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee the delivery and management of all M&E services across our organisation, while delivering effective property safety remedial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance to enhance customer safety. By inspiring and supporting your team, you will deliver outstanding customer service and ensure that all services comply with current regulations, meet organisational goals, and contribute to long-term sustainability and net-zero carbon objectives.

To be successful in this role you will need to

Have extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including gas, electrical systems, asbestos, water safety, lift systems, carbon monoxide detection, solid fuel systems renewables, and others.

Possess strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including the Decent Homes Standard, Consumer Regulations, and sustainability initiatives such as EPC ratings, net-zero carbon goals

Have demonstrable experience in managing projects within the housing or property sector including procurement, contracts, and budget management

Have a thorough understanding of CDM regulations, Section 20 Notices and their application to major component replacement and refurbishment works

Be an excellent people managing with the ability to engage your team to deliver complex projects effectively whilst providing great customer service

Show proven experience managing contractors, both internal and external, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements.

Be confident using systems to drive efficiencies and using data to inform decisions to improve service delivery

Be skilled in using digital systems to monitor, report on, and drive efficiencies in key projects, supported by strong analytical and data management capabilities.
